Our organization is small and led by volunteers. We use all funds and in-kind donations towards the race and our organization's mission. We go away with a smile and the question, what are we capable of next year? So, where does your support go?

FUNDING PRIORITIES To pull this off

  • Permitting (State Forest, Private Land, County, Road Departments)

  • Insurance (Yea, we have to buy event insurance)

  • Marketing (Banners, Postcards, Posters, Word of Mouth (Time off the 9 to 5), Social Media, Local Press, State, Regional...)

  • Trails (Snowmobiles, Gas, Trail Markers, Signs, Grooming, Tree Clearing...)

  • Lodging (Race Officials, Volunteers...)

  • Food (For the volunteers, officials, dogs (treats that is))...

  • And last but not least, we have MUSHERS and SKIJORERS traveling from all over the US & Canada who love the sport and their furry canine companions. Let's come up with a decent purse to help these athletes excel at what they do! Do you have a dog? How about 40? Thanks for your support!

Snow Action Sports, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization led by volunteers aiming to showcase the importance of working sled dogs and is indebted to the surrounding communities, businesses and organizations that help us reach our goals.
